About
Hi, I'm Dana, an art therapist who believes in the power of art to heal.
In therapy we will work together to explore your feelings and experiences through art, no prior experience required. Therapy is a personal journey. My role in the journey is to provide a safe, non-judgmental space where you can express and discover your inner truth. Together we will discover what you need to heal.
My journey
As the child of immigrants, I grew up between two cultures that I didn’t fully belong to. This experience has shaped how I connect with those who feel lost, stuck, or in between. Whether it’s through cultural shifts, trauma, or life transitions, I understand the complexity of finding a place in the world.
My approach
I use art therapy to help process emotions, explore the inner world, and rediscover the creativity that is within us all. You don't have to be an artist, you just need to be willing to explore and express. My approach is based on trauma-informed practices and developmental theory, and I adapt the approach to address unique needs.
Why art therapy?
Art opens a path to healing that words often cannot. It is a tool for expression, processing, and understanding. Together, we will explore the world of emotions and find clarity and understanding.
